Easy Care Houseplants

Our easy care indoor plants are perfect for first time houseplant buyers or difficult interior spaces. These plants are very forgiving when it comes to water and/or light requirements.

Aglaonema 'Emerald Bay'
Emerald Bay is very easy to care for and will be a very solid addition to any interiorscape. We offer this plant in a 10 in. pot up to 28 inches tall and in a 14 in. pot up to 34 inches tall. Both are full and beautiful. Tropical foliage at its best!

Aglaonema 'Aurora Siam'
A tried and true hero of the 'red ag' craze. The Aurora is a tough and beautiful all in one tropical plant making it a perfect indoor plant. Farm Life offers the aurora in an 8 inch azalea pot. These are very full plants finishing at around 16 inches tall.
Dracaena marginata
The Marginata is an impressive indoor plant versatile enough for many settings. Long slender leaves bending gracefully down create a soft feathery look. We offer this interiorscape staple as a multi-cane, multi-head 6-7 foot tall plant in a 14 inch pot.

This Chinese evergreen is great as a low maintenance, low light indoor plant. It is truly hard to go wrong with an Aglaonema . We offer this plant in a 10 inch pot up to 30 inches tall and in a 14 inch pot up to 34 inches tall. Both are full and beautiful.
Aspidistra elatior
The Cast Iron plant has no problem living up to its name. Low light? bring it on. No water? no problem. The worst thing you can do is take care of this tropical plant too much. Farm Life offers this indoor plant with a height of about 3 feet in a 10 in. pot.

Each reflexa is wonderfully unique. The woody base with a canopy of vibrant dark green tropical foliage adds life to any decor. Farm Life grows these plants in 10, 14, 17 and 21 inch pots with heights ranging from 36 inches to 10 feet. Sometimes we have even larger specimens.
Sansevieria Sayuri
When all else fails try a Snake plant. With its grey-green tropical foliage the Sayuri is the perfect houseplant for a low light environment where most other plants can't survive. Our Sayuris are grown in a 10 inch pot with a height around 32 inches when finished.

Sansevieria Wintergreen
Sansevierias are perfect low light survivors. This version of the Snake plant has tall thin leaves with a horizontal pattern of white and dark green. As a bonus, it needs very little water. Our Wintergreens are grown in a 10 inch pot with a height around 36 inches when finished.
Aglaonema 'Wishes'
Wishes stands out as an interior plant because it's foliage has some very deep pinks tending toward red. This is not a huge plant so you will find it here in either 6 inch or 8 inch azalea pots.

The popular Dracaena marginata has a few color varieties. The 'bicolor' has gray/green tropical foliage with pink or red edges. The growth pattern is straighter compared to the spreading habit of other marginata varieties. These plants are in 17 inch pots with a woody character style base.

The popular Dracaena marginata has a few color varieties. The Magenta has a burgundy tint to the leaf edges with a reddish green leaf center. This variety has the curvy upward growth habit of the original green marginata. These plants are in 17 inch pots with a woody character style base.

Dracaena steudneri 'Moonlight' Image
Dracaena steudneri 'Moonlight'
The steudneri is a very hardy species of Dracaena and the Moonlight has contrasting green and yellow tropical foliage. As a houseplant the Moonlight will do exceptionally well in most places. Farm Life grows the Dracaena steudneri 'Moonlight' in a 10 inch pot at 5 feet and in a 14 inch pot at around 6 feet.
Rhapis excelsa
Rhapis are commonly called Lady Palms and are a slow growing houseplant capable of living in a low light interior environment. The Rhapis has proven itself for many years as a great indoor plant. Farm Life grows the Rhapis in 10 to 17 inch pots ranging from around 3 feet to 7 feet.

The steudneri is a very hardy species of Dracaena. This variety, Janet Lind, has attractive dark green tropical foliage. As a houseplant the Janet Lind will do exceptionally well in most places.
